Jessell was born to an odd couple due to a bored breeder who decided to experiment a little. When it was time to be adopted, she was the first to be chosen since she had more charm to her compared to her siblings; namely her eyes. The family she was raised by was well off financially. With the father an up and coming director and his wife, a fashion designer, Jessell was very involved with both lines of work when she wasn't looking after the children. She enjoyed life as it was, but it all ended when an arsonist set flame to her home. In a frantic attempt to save her family, she made sure everyone was out of the home before she left the flaming building, even becoming hostile when a firefighter tried to get her out while still looking for the youngest child. Jessell was separated from her family during the commotion of the fire, having to take a different route to get to safety, resulting on her getting lost. From then, shes been living as a stray, following anyone she would think could take her in. She eventually bumped into a friendly dog named Joe, who quickly became her pal. As the days continued and the lessons of living on the streets continued, Jessell's fondness Joe continued to grow, feeling her life finally turning around from the past.
She felt that living as a stray with Joe wasn't so bad, and liked the small amounts of danger, even risking her life a few times just for the sake of fun. Eventually it caught up to both of them when the two were running from an animal control officer. With Jessell being much taller, she was able to clear the busy street, but Joe wasn't so lucky. He was stuck by a car and instantly passed. As much as she wanted to go back, the fear of being put into a pound fulled her legs to continue on.
Now Jessell is trying to turn her life around once more, doing what ever she can to get closer to achieving her dream job.
